How Pelican Hub collects, uses, and protects your data.
Last updated: June 11, 2026
Pelican Hub (hub.pelican.dev) is the official companion service for Pelican Panel, an open-source game server management panel. Pelican Hub provides community support tools, a plugin marketplace, donation management, and statistics that help improve Pelican Panel. It also operates the official Pelican bot inside the Pelican Discord server.
This policy explains what data we collect, why we collect it, and the choices you have.
Signing in to Pelican Hub is done exclusively through Discord. When you sign in, we receive and store your Discord user ID, username, email address, and avatar. We never see or store your Discord password.
The Pelican bot operates only inside the official Pelican Discord server. Within that server it processes:
If you connect a Pelican Panel installation, we store the panel URL and the API token you provide, along with the statistics your panel voluntarily submits. This data is used to power Hub features for your panel and to help the Pelican team understand how the Panel is used in the real world.
Payments are processed by Stripe. We store your subscription and donation status so we can grant donor benefits, but we never see or store your card details.
Plugins, plugin versions, reviews, author profiles, and support tickets you create on the Hub are stored so we can provide those features. Plugin pages and reviews are publicly visible.
To reduce wait times, messages posted in the designated community support channels may be sent to a third-party AI provider (such as Anthropic or OpenAI) to generate a troubleshooting response. Only the messages in the relevant support thread are processed, and they are used solely to generate that response.
Your messages are never used to train AI models — not by us, and not by our AI providers, whose API terms prohibit training on submitted data.
We never sell your data. We share data only with the service providers needed to run Pelican Hub:
We use cookies only for essential purposes: keeping you signed in and protecting forms against cross-site request forgery. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
Questions or requests about your data? Open a support ticket on the Hub or reach out in the Pelican Discord server.
We may update this policy as Pelican Hub evolves. Significant changes will be announced in the Pelican Discord server, and the date at the top of this page reflects the latest revision.
